Project overview:
This project was created for Prestige Home’s Black Friday campaign and was my first attempt at making a FOOH visual. The goal was to create something more eye-catching than a standard sale post, while still keeping the focus on the brand and its products.

This project was created for Prestige Home’s Black Friday campaign and was my first attempt at making a FOOH visual. The goal was to create something more eye-catching than a standard sale post, while still keeping the focus on the brand and its products.
Project process:
I started by modeling the main 3D elements in Blender, the hot air balloon and a few sofa models based on their Black Friday offers. After that, I created the materials, branded the balloons, and started building the scene around the visual I had in mind. I used stock footage of the Arch of Triumph in Bucharest, tracked the shot in Blender, then animated the balloons and products to sit naturally inside the footage. To make the integration work better, I also recreated a simple version of the arch to catch shadows and give the objects a more believable contact with the scene. After the animation was done, I rendered the scene in separate layers so I could control everything better in the final composition. The products, shadows, and background elements were rendered separately, which made it easier to adjust how each part blended with the footage. I also added more balloons in the background to give the shot extra depth and make the whole scene feel bigger, not just like a few 3D objects placed on top of a video.

Final results:
The final composition was done in Premiere Pro, where I worked on the color, lighting, and atmosphere to make the 3D elements feel more integrated. I added subtle color correction over the whole shot, adjusted the contrast and highlights, and pushed the background balloons slightly cooler and foggier so they felt affected by the sky and distance. This helped the objects sit better in the footage and made the final visual feel more realistic and less flat.
